Suzana Zivkovic is a Senior Gender mainstreaming consultant with over 15 years of experience in development cooperation and gender equality, analysis, mainstreaming, women’s economic empowerment and rural development. Her work has primarily focused on organisational and institutional capacity building and change, and she has worked with local and national governments and officials on gender mainstreaming within various contexts. Suzana has worked extensively on supporting (through coaching and capacity building) learning organizations and assessing organizational culture to establish desired objectives for change. She is a strong and firm supporter of applying participatory approaches, especially in multi-stakeholder environments.

Suzana has been a core team member on the previous Global Gender Helpdesk with Sida.

Suzana has extensive experience from the Western Balkans after working in the region for 12 years.

She has experience working with Sida, World Bank, UNDP, UN Women, as well as International Finance Institutions, International and national NGOs and Swedish authorities.
