Alicia Borges Månsson

Alícia Borges Månsson is a Senior Consultant with an MA in International Education and 20 years of experience working internationally on development cooperation projects. Her work has included management, preparation, implementation and evaluation of education, skills for employment, and health projects or programs in various countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Ms. Månsson has developed coordinated and facilitated international training programs and seminars such as Sida’s National training program on Women Peace and Security in Colombia. She has undertaken several research studies, assessments and evaluations: in Education Reforms in Angola, Bolivia, Cape Verde, and Mozambique as well as development of a concept paper to UNGEI on skills development for the marginalized youth; a study on mainstreaming vulnerable adolescent girls and young women into Rwanda National Employment Program; an Endline Evaluation of Engaging Communities and Schools in Support of Adolescent Girls in Malawi. She has also been team leader and manager on several projects/assignments among others the framework contract on education and skills development with Sida, and a number of assignments under it such as a study on Gender and school dropouts; the Framework contract on international health including HIV/AIDS, and a number of assignments under it related to sexual reproductive health and rights.
