Key qualifications
Since 2010, Anna has carried out 15+ evaluations and consultancy assignments for a number of organisations, such as Sida, UNDP, UNFPA and various national and international NGOs.
Anna is a gender specialist with extensive working experience from non-governmental as well as international and governmental organisations. Anna’s strong background in gender and long experience working closely with the women’s movement, provide her with a solid understanding of gender issues from a variety of perspectives. She has also worked with gender mainstreaming and is currently part of the NCG Gender Help Desk to Sida.
Anna has worked extensively with Women, Peace and Security issues for over 10 years, and has undertaken a variety of consultancy assignments in this field. She has worked with grant management for programmes on UNSCR 1325 at Folke Bernadotte Academy, and previously worked as country representative for Kvinna till Kvinna in Serbia. She has a Masters in peace and conflict studies, where she specialized in ethnicity and nationalism, together with civil society’s role in peace-building. Anna is a member of the Swedish national election monitoring team for international election observing since 2017, and Member of European Union Expert Team for Security Sector Reform (SSR) as Gender and Civil Society Expert since 2010.
