Evaluations
NCG conducts many external and partly external evaluations of development cooperation programs and projects. The scope is often similar to the OECD/DAC established evaluation framework, covering relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability. Evaluation may be strategic ex-ante, mid-term and ex-post, summative, normative and real-time evaluations. Assessment of effectiveness is often done through analysis of outputs, outcomes and impact against objectives, and formulating learnings and recommendations. NCG consultants uses evaluation methodologies such as outcome mapping, its relative outcome harvesting and story telling.
