Framework agreement regarding Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) expert consultancies with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency/Myndigheten för Samhällsskydd och Beredskap (MSB)
MSB believes that increased effort should be directed to develop capacity and resilience in low- and middle-income countries to reduce risks connected to disasters to better cope with the situation if disaster strikes. This has led MSB to sign an agreement with NCG Sweden for the acquisition of consultants in three profiles regarding DRR:
- Profile 1: DRR expert – program development (two experts proposed by NCG were accepted)
- Profile 2: DRR expert – training support (no expert proposed)
- Profile 3: DRR expert – program implementation (one expert proposed by NCG was accepted)
