NCG supported Sweco in the development of a Social Impact Assessment in Ajara region in Georgia for an investment into the closure of three existing landfills and the opening of a new one. Client is the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Ajara and the project is financed by EBRD and Sida. The project includes a need for economic compensation and resettlement actions, social actions to ensure community health and safety as well as investment into social management at the landfill operator.
