Expert assessment of human rights proposals to EuropeAid

NCG staff and NCG consultants is part of a winning bid (100 points of max 100) to the European Commission’s key funding instrument for democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights, The European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).

The team of ten persons under the contract of the consulting company ARS Progretti will support the EU with assessment of proposals received under the global call for proposals launched under EIDHR. The cooperation themes under EIDHR are the following:

Lot 1: Support to women Human Rights Defenders and/or Human Rights Defenders working for women and girls’ rights where they are the most at risk

Lot 2:  Support to civil society actions fighting against torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment

Lot 3:  Support to the implementation of the UN guiding principles on Business and Human Rights

Lot 4: Support to the rights of persons belonging to minorities and persons affected by caste-based discriminations.

Lot 5:  Addressing impunity and supporting transitional justice
