We are looking for an intern to join NCG Sweden for a physical/on-site internship starting from Week 4 (20 January 2025)! The internship will last for an academic semester, corresponding to the academic calendar used by Swedish universities.
The internship period at NCG is intended as a developing time for both the intern and for NCG. We value the perspectives that an intern can provide, and we particularly ask for the values and specific skills of young people. We intend to integrate the intern as far as possible in all our activities, as we are a smaller organisation. We also intend for the intern to accompany us on one or more assignments outside of Sweden, as support but also to learn.
The internship means that the intern can participate in writing parts of reports, conduct research in various subjects, write meeting minutes, participate in surveys, help develop our company strategies including our communication strategy. The intern also supports with administration (e.g. building up our reference database) and communication (e.g. updating our website and social media). Generally, the intern supports NCG with ongoing assignments of a varied character (e.g. research, workshop, etc.), as well as the preparation for potential projects through proposals/tenders.
With NCG, you get to experience what it is like working within international development cooperation from the perspective of a consultancy business. NCG partners and consultants have built a name for themselves as experts in gender equality, gender mainstreaming, and the intersections of gender equality and other fields (e.g., results-based management, evaluations, capacity building, etc. in education, private sector development, infrastructure, health, and more). If this sounds interesting to you, send us your application so that we can take it further!

- Your physical presence is expected at NCG office in Bromma, Stockholm. We will provide you with an SL card for public transportation within Stockholm.
