HANH NGUYEN

Hanh Nguyen is the new Framework Coordinator and Communications Officer at NCG Sweden. Her professional work experience includes one year full-time within international development cooperation under NCG and almost two years part-time within communications and content creation. She considers her junior-level experience to be a mutual asset in terms of exchanging and absorbing new perspectives. She also believes her employment consolidates NCG’s commitment to developing the next generation of experts in international development cooperation consultancy beyond the company’s already established internship placements.

As the first intern to secure a job at NCG, Hanh is excited for the opportunity to take charge of the management of NCG’s growing frameworks and learn more about the consultancy business from a new vantage point. As of April 2022, NCG Sweden holds 15 framework agreements, of which 6 are with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), 3 with the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), 3 with the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) and 3 with Swedish authorities and private entities. Another part of Hanh’s work is to enhance the visibility of NCG’s expertise and commitments to a wider audience.

Hanh holds a Master of Science in Global Studies from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). Her master thesis studies the linkages between gender equality and climate resilience through a Sida-funded project on renewable energy entrepreneurship for Vietnamese ethnic minority women. Hanh also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Tokyo International University (Japan).
