Regional Digital Workshop on Human Rights Based Approach and Gender Equality

NCG Sweden – in collaboration with NCG Denmark and Tana – conducted an evaluation of how well the perspectives of HRBA and gender are integrated in the Swedish regional development cooperation portfolio of projects in Asia. The findings of this evaluation and recommendations were presented in an international digital seminar for the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok and included 120 participants including Sida’s partners from all parts of Asia. NCG also presented a tool for integration of both gender and HRBA during the workshop. All participants:  Sida´s partners in Asia, the Swedish embassy in Bangkok, Sida HQ, the IT company and NCG/Tana were pleased with the outcome of the seminar and saw the workshop as the beginning of a closer cooperation between partners in Asia to collaborate and exchange ideas and practices on HRBA and gender equality.
