Emina Abrahamsdotter works as a consultant, trainer and facilitator. With strong educational background in political science and religious studies she is successfully combining this theoretical knowledge with her professional experience in the international development cooperation. Her ongoing PhD research is about religion and development with focus on gender quality, poverty reduction and peace building.
She has been leading technical assistance projects/programs aimed at increasing capacities of civil society organizations and public institutions and improving gender equality including its all phases from project design to implementation and evaluation. She has strong research and analytical skills and practical experience of using a variety of data collection and analysis tools, and compiling different types of reports.
In the past three years her focus has been on curbing corruption and strengthening integrity in the organizations of local governments providing expertise and facilitation services to the key senior officials, carrying out organizational diagnosis aimed at assessing vulnerability to systemic corruption and leading the process of strategy and action plan development.
She has worked for European Union, World Bank, UNDP, UN Women, UNDAF, GIZ, Sida, EBRD etc.
More than 11 years of experience in the field of international development cooperation with focus on:
Capacity development of civil society organizations and public institutions,
Anti-corruption and integrity building in the public organizations, businesses and NGOs,
Institutional strengthening and organizational development,
Strategic and action planning,
Gender equality and gender mainstreaming,
Monitoring and evaluation.
