Key qualifications
Robust quantitative and qualitative research skills which she has applied across different sectors. Solid financial modelling and analysis gained as a sell-side equity analyst in the mining, oil & gas, and paper & forestry sectors. Focus is now on programme evaluation and applied research. Evaluations that she has worked on include the implementation evaluation of the National School Nutrition Programme, commissioned by the South African Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME), and the National Department of Basic Education (DBE); formative evaluation of the Samhällsorientering programme in Växjö Municipality, Sweden. She has also recently been exposed to projects involving gender analysis and gender mainstreaming.

Passionate about Public Policy Studies and Evaluation for development, and the intersection of the roles of Private, Public and Non Profit sectors in achieving sustainable development. She is a member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA), and an Oppenheimer Memorial Trust as well as Swedish Institute Scholar.
